West Baton Rouge Parish saw major flooding on Thursday morning, leaving roadways and homes in parts of Addis, Plaquemine and Brusly with high standing water.Â
A flash flood warning was in effect through noon for Plaquemine, Addis, Brusly, Baton Rouge Gardere and Merrydale, according to the National Weather Service office in New Orleans.Â
