West Baton Rouge Parish saw major flooding on Thursday morning, leaving roadways and homes in parts of Addis, Plaquemine and Brusly with high standing water. 

A flash flood warning was in effect through noon for Plaquemine, Addis, Brusly, Baton Rouge Gardere and Merrydale, according to the National Weather Service office in New Orleans. 

Photos and video shared to social media showed flooded roads and backyards across the area. Take a look at some of the scenes below.
