Crews prepare signage supports for new signage that will be used along Interstate 10 near the College Drive exit from westbound Interstate 10, Wednesday, February 5, 2025, in Baton Rouge, La.

A permanent traffic change for Interstate 10 westbound exits at College Drive will go into effect on Sunday, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced.

Beginning Sunday, a new, far-right exit lane will travel only to Corporate Boulevard, with a rollover curb separating the lane from College Drive.

The remaining three exit lanes of the interstate will end at the College Drive traffic signal.

At that point, the right lane of the interstate will exit to College Drive north. Drivers can still turn onto Corporate Boulevard from College Drive at an existing traffic light.

The remaining two I-10 westbound lanes will exit to College Drive south.

The state Department of Transportation said new overhead interstate signs will signal the new lane destinations.

The four exit lanes will allow drivers on I-10 westbound and I-12 westbound to exit for College Drive — or Corporate Boulevard — before the I-10/I-12 merger, the DOTD said.

The new configurations are part of the DOTD's nearly completed $52.3 million College Drive Flyover project. Information about the project can be found at .
